Jansen is an active driver in the local motorsports scene, actively competing in Drift, Time Attack and Endurance Racing events and often performs in numerous Drift Demonstrations in the country. He loves everything on wheels, from race cars to Land Rovers as well as extreme mountain biking, bike trial competitions and racing radio control cars too.
Representing HKS Garage R and Stamford Tyres / Falken Tires, Jansen placed 6th overall in the Formula Drift Pro AM Singapore 2009 held at the Changi Airshow Ground, finishing as the highest ranked Singaporean in the competition.
Besides taking part in various motorsport competitions, Jansen believes strongly in transferring his knowledge of drifting to the masses. He believes that in order for the sport to grow, more enthusiasts need to learn the basics in a socially responsible manner and in a safe and controlled environment. With passion as his fuel for racing, Jansen is looking to light up the track at the upcoming Formula Drift Singapore 2010.
